Designer, Melanie Slavin, began her interest in flowers young while growing up helping in the family garden. As she matured, her interest for the fine arts and architectural design flourished. She continued to explore this path by heavily focusing her formal artistic training on form, structure and movement in design. In pursuit of what she “thought” she wanted, Melanie changed directions and completed her education at Georgia Tech and moved to New York to pursue a career in Finance.

After working on Wall St. for six years, she was not convinced the corporate world was where she belonged. Her need for creativity and design unfulfilled, she decided to pursue her passion and soon began her career in floral arts by studying at one of New York’s premier design centers, Flower School NY, and apprenticing at a boutique Brooklyn florist. Melanie has since then returned to Atlanta, GA and now blends the style and sophistication of New York events with Southern-comfort and hospitality required to design anything from a perfectly tailored affair to an elegant centerpiece.

Melanie specializes in small to mid-sized events. Her enthusiasm and passion for floral design is obvious in every arrangement and each design is a reflection of her desire to please the client.
